Kevin Body retired from the Thornton Fire Department (Colorado) in 2019 as Deputy Chief of Operations. He previously retired from South King Fire & Rescue (Washington) as a Battalion Chief. Kevin’s career spans more than 37 years, providing him with many opportunities and experiences to grow as a leader. Credentialed as a Chief Fire Officer and Chief Training Officer (CPSE) he holds a BS in Workforce Education and an AAS in Fire Service Administration. Kevin has been mentoring people informally his entire career and formally since 2012, working with individuals ranging from fire service candidates to Fire Chief.
